Take a stroll around Circular Quay from The Rocks to the Sydney Opera House to view all twelve spectacular Lunar lanterns of the Zodiac animal signs.

The Lunar lanterns are a creative and contemporary interpretation of a centuries-old tradition. Modern technology along with classic Chinese techniques were used in the creation of these magnificent giant works of art.

New lanterns to be debuted include Claudia Chan Shaw's glowing tower of nine golden rats, Min Woo Bang's pair of robotic Horses, Nancy Liang and Fiona Lu's paper-folded rabbit and a chandelier-inspired rooster designed by festival curator, Valerie Khoo.

Make sure to explore the Lunar Lanterns from Friday 31 January to Sunday 9 February.
