Ever wanted to create your own live comedy show? Well now is your chance. Live from ATYP, it's your Friday afternoon showcase!
Play with character development, try your hand at stand-up and learn skills and techniques to write your very own sketches. This course will teach you some of the rules of comedy such as timing and the importance of playing truth. Have your friends and family rolling in the aisles at the end of the week with a variety of sketches and learn the art-form that has produced the likes of Hannah Gadsby, Kenan Thompson and of course ATYP alumni Rebel Wilson.
Making use of interactive online programs, school holiday workshops bring the drama experience to your living room, kitchen, backyard or wherever! Students will still get the chance to connect with an ATYP artist and their fellow classmates each day to create, express and perform.
Classes will be held using Google Classroom and Zoom platforms.
