Does fiction shape memory and music? Authors Arnold Zable and Kirsten Krauthwill explore the connection when they participate in an online conversation event on 17 November 2020 at 7.00pm (AEST).
Arnold and Kirsten will be joined in conversation with journalist and writer Claire Halliday.
The Watermill, Arnold's new novel, is a quartet of stories that depicts the ebbs and flows of trauma and healing, and the quest for belonging. Music is a feature that inhabits many of his stories.
Set against the post-punk and Countdown pop scenes of Melbourne in the 1980s; Kirsten's novel, Almost a Mirror is a celebration of the eighties and its music while exploring loss, grief, drugs, memories, art and finding your place in the world.
Tickets are free and can be booked online. The unique Zoom link will be emailed on the day of the event.
Join the conversation at 7.00pm (AEST) on 17 November 2020 when Arthur and Kirsten discuss how music connects people to places and memories
