Join artist Fernando do Campo and Dr John Martin from Taronga Institute of Science and Learning for an intimate walking tour and discussion about the bird species we find in our every day and the histories they carry.

Dr John Martin is a Research Scientist based at the Taronga Institute of Science and Learning. John's research program is directed towards understanding the ecology of wildlife in human-dominated landscapes. This program aims to produce recommendations for land management that will lead to enhanced prospects for co-existence between wildlife and humans. John welcomes community involvement in his research, one and all are welcome to participate in the Big City Birds, Wildlife Assist (formerly Hollows as Homes), or Urban Field Naturalist citizen science programs. John is currently Adjunct Lecturer at the Centre for Ecosystem Science, UNSW.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition 'Fernando Do Campo: To Companion A Companion' from 7 May - 31 July 2021.
