Stradbroke Season launches with a spectacular day of celebration. Treasury Brisbane Queensland Guineas Day hosts the exhilarating live racing, premium dining and all of the remarkable experiences you would expect of Brisbane's premier Racing Carnival.
Commencing at Queensland's home of racing, Eagle Farm Racecourse, racegoers will be enthralled with the high calibre of racing, including the AUD350,000 Queensland Guineas, a race with over 120 years of history.
Most recently, the Group Two Guineas was won by Kolding, who went on later in the year to become the inaugural winner of the Golden Eagle in Sydney. Opening day also features the Group Two Victory Stakes for some of the country's top speedsters, including local hero Buffering who was a two-time winner.
