After 20 incredible years of touring and making music, The Cat Empire have made the decision to disband and to make way for a new incarnation, fronted by Felix and Ollie.
As a tribute to the Melbourne music scene which fostered their career, they will play two final hometown shows with the original line-up at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The celebration will start with Melbourne favourites Jazzparty, followed by Ollie McGill who will play a special solo piano set before two full hours of The Cat Empire.
The set-list will be jam-packed with crowd favourites spanning the band’s career plus some much-loved special guests. Expect an unforgettable celebration with plenty of reflection and immeasurable joy.
