TAIKO TIME with Ian - Pad Work, Paradiddles & Playing a Piece

Ian will present a series of sessions that will cover technical work on the drum pad, plus air-drumming to help retain body memory - and iron things out after a long day! Ian believes in the value of developing the basics by fine-tuning stance, grip, stroke and so on. He will apply the basics to learning new musical phrases and than having some fun playing along to a pre-recorded sound track.

The classes are fully online, so please have a drum pad handy with drumsticks or bachi. If you don't have a pad, then a cushion or piece of foam will suffice. Headphones or earbuds will be handy, too.
