Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Sydney City Farm.
Our volunteers get hands-on working together at the farm and produce grown is donated to local charities.
Join us for a mandatory 45minute volunteer induction session at the farm where you will:
find out about our history,
tour our cropping area, orchard, and plant nursery,
undertake a safety briefing.
Once inducted you are eligible to attend our regular volunteer sessions and can get involved as often as you like. Please note: you need to register for each volunteer session separately. To do this, you need to set up an account in our online system JRNI to register (its quick, easy and free).
All volunteers are required to be fully Covid-19 vaccinated unless they have a medical exemption.
Email a copy of your vaccination certificate or medical exemption certificate to: cityfarm@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au This is a one-off requirement. View our Privacy Protection Notification. https://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/council-governance-administration/sydney-city-farm-booking-terms-conditions
Before volunteering you also need to fill in the volunteer registration form - https://forms.office.com/r/VuUVrdYAqH
If you have any queries or concerns, please email: cityfarm@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au or call us on 92659333
To keep our community safe, Sydney City Farm has a Covid-19 safety plan. You'll be asked to complete a wellness check before each volunteer session. Site hygiene and distancing control measures need to be followed, and you must check-in at the farm using our QR code and your Service NSW app. We can assist if you don't have a smartphone or a phone with a camera.
Bookings essential. No group bookings please.
Sydney City Farm volunteer induction sessions will not proceed in wet, extreme or dangerous weather and you will need to book another session
