Swinging In The Rain 2020

'Swinging In The Rain' is a unique two-part event focusing on bringing the joy of dance to Adelaide during the Christmas period.

In conjunction with the City Of Adelaide, established dance school Dance Generation Dance Studios are bringing The Arts to the streets with free swing dance workshops for all ages, live jazz music, and live painting this festive season.

Qualified instructors from Dance Generation Dance Studios will be delivering easy swing dance steps in short 10 minute workshops, live to the skilled tunes of Christoper Jazzcat, Paulo Santos, and the Elder Conservatorium Jazz Students. We will be providing the 'rain' to keep you cool while you have fun learning!
Visual artist Kat Coppock will be painting live alongside the event to add an extra element to the experience.

This event will have two parts; a fun lunchtime session for business workers and shoppers alike from 12-2pm on the 27/11/20 on the corner of Gawler Pl and Pirie St outside NAB, and a chilled out evening session 5-8pm on the 11/12 in the North West Corner of Hindmarsh Square.
