In this workshop, young participants will be introduced to the basics of coding and robotics through fun activities, technology and games.
Starting the day unplugged, they will work together to give instructions and solve problems, through a series of group challenges.
Participants will use a block-based coding program to control robots and perform tasks with drag-and-drop commands on a screen. They will get the unique opportunity to meet some of the robots that live at the Museum ― including learning to drive a replica of the Mars Rover, Perseverance.
For ages 7-9. Available on two dates.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
Advance bookings are essential, as capacity is limited to ten participants per workshop.
