Relove your wardrobe and learn to upcycle your old clothes.
Work on your own upcycling projects and transform your old clothes into ones you love! You can either come with some ideas or we'll chat as a group with lots of reference images to look at! It's a great opportunity to learn together and get inspired by each other's projects!
Upcycling can take some time so if you don't complete your projects then there will be time to ask any questions to complete them at home or you can join us for our next sewing social and upcycling workshops!
Why upcycle?
In Australia alone, more than 500,000 tonnes of textiles and leather end up in landfill each year. We definitely believe that our clothes and planet deserve more than that!
We recommend that you already know how to thread and use a sewing machine, as there won't be time to teach you during the lesson. You can check out our Learn To Sew workshop or Contact Us to arrange a 1:1 beforehand.

What you'll need to bring:
Your clothes you've fallen out of love with. It's always best to bring a few so you've got some choice!
Matching Threads (We do have a small selection here but if you want to be sure you have the perfect match then it's best to bring your own.)
Matching / Contrast Fabric if it's needed for your upcycling ideas.
