Saturday 10 October 2020 is World Mental Health Day. To commemorate this day and create a display of hope and unity, What's On Stonnington is hosting Rainbow of Hope from 9 am to 3 pm on the day.
This is the time for the whole family to have some fun, perhaps address mental health by starting a conversation, and/or simply putting joy, colour and imagination out into the world. Do something that sparks joy in your heart and puts smiles on everyone's faces.
Get out the chalks, crayons, paint; anything crafty and engage in activities like drawing rainbows on the footpath, decorating your letterbox, or creating a huge display of hope and unity in your window. Be sure to SHARE YOUR MASTERPIECE by using the hashtag #rainbowstogether2020 so that What's On Stonnington can enjoy every rainbow!
Take a stroll through your neighbourhood to see who joined in and enjoy the talents of the community as it puts out colour and hope on Mental Health Day. Spread the word and tell your neighbours and friends, so the whole street can participate. What joy for all the kids in the street to engage in, and look at each other's works of art with a message.
