Do you like sculpture and are curious how to turn a one-line drawing into a unique 3D form?

In this workshop, you will make a 3D portrait inspired by portraits in the Library collection using wire. You will learn how to twist and turn wire into a sculptural form that will surprise you in its arty appeal and expressiveness. By the end of the workshop, you will have a modern art masterpiece to take home and a head full of ideas for further projects.

All equipment and materials will be supplied for the onsite workshop. Due to COVID-19 guidelines places are limited and all participants must book a ticket. Parents and guardians can elect to drop their child off, or may choose to stay and assist their child.

Ages: 8-12 years

Cost: $20 per child
