The Peaks to Points Festival is a biennial, regional, environmental festival that celebrates the natural areas on the south side of the Brisbane River from Flinders Peak in the west, to the points on Moreton Bay - Point Halloran, Wellington Point and Victoria Point.
Through displays, activities and entertainment at the Family Day at Oxley Creek Common on 18 July and events and activities over the two weeks the Festival aims to raise awareness of the importance of the creeks and natural areas.
The activities throughout the two weeks include guided walks, tours, workshops, plantings, films, birdwatching and spotlighting showcase and celebrations of the activities of local groups, governments and businesses working to improve their creeks and natural environments.
