Following the success of last year's festival everything unique about North and West Melbourne will be celebrated again at the second Northside Summer Festival.
Come along and experience what this quirky urban village is all about, with art exhibitions, exclusive retail experiences, free entertainment and some of the best drinking and dining options this corner of the city has to offer.
The popular Northside Block Party will be back to close out the festival on Saturday 22 February in Eades Park, from midday to 7pm. Expect live music, local beers, giant games and delicious street food offerings from the precinct's best cafes and restaurants. There will also be free face painting and activities to keep the kids entertained throughout the day.
The Northside Summer Festival is produced by the North and West Melbourne Precinct Association to showcase the diverse selection of dining, shopping, arts and entertainment the area has to offer and to increase visitation year-round.
The festival is supported by City of Melbourne and members of the local business community.
