In collaboration with the Biennale of Sydney we set out to find innovative and environmentally sustainable materials that could be used as part of the 23rd Biennale of Sydney exhibition.
The New & Sustainable Materials challenge has unearthed more than 50 revolutionary materials and products, and now we want to showcase the best of them to you. These innovators are fundamentally changing the way plastics, textiles, and materials are produced, or turning waste into entirely new products. They have big ambitions to revolutionise industries and positively impact our planet, and they need your help.
This Expo is a window into the future of materials, and an opportunity to make this future happen faster. At this online event, each innovator will demo their products, explain their vision and mission for a more sustainable world. You will be able to connect with the innovators you're interested in and find out how you can get involved in their journey.
Thought leaders, decision-makers, investors, or anyone looking to supercharge the change to more sustainable practices across business, arts, and industry, we invite you to come along.
Climate change is a systemic problem, and requires systemic solutions that reach down into every inefficient process, every industry, every material, every hidden detail and every bias. It will require us to reinvent everything. Supporting makers of sustainable materials is one action many of us can be taking right now.
The challenge and expo is in partnership with the UK Australia Season, a collaboration between the British Council and the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the UK Government's Science and Innovation Network.
