Celebrate History Week 2021 with this online exhibition from Addi Road's Living Museum program about the moratorium marches that sought to stop Australian involvement in the Vietnam War 50 years ago.

Addison Road Community Centre in Marrickville was an army call-up depot and site of protest against conscription during the war.

This exhibition reflects on the legacy of community organising and activism inherited from those who took to the streets to change the world back then.

It features badges and posters from our collection as well as sound bites from Sydney people involved in the anti-conscription and anti-war movements, some with personal connections to this unusual place: 9 acres of Gadigal Land in Sydney's inner west that has played its role in Australia's social history from the ground up.

This event is a part of History Week 2021, organised by the History Council NSW.

Hosted by Addison Road Community Organisation.
