In Australia, every hour 6 babies are born premature or critically ill. These babies require specialized medical care in a neonatal intensive care unit or special care nursery. Sadly, each year 1,000 of these babies will lose their fight for life.
The Miracle Moon Walk is a memorable 10km night walk which aims to raise vital funds to support more of the 48,000+ premature and sick newborns and their families affected each year.
Today, only 1 in 3 of these families have access to the support that they need.
The walk starts and finishes at Martin Place. Walk as the sun sets and the stars emerge, taking in some of Sydney's most iconic city and harbourfront locations, all for a great cause.
