Mini me photography course 2021

Milk & Honey Photography is owned and run by husband and wife team Anni and Matthew. Between them they have degrees in photography, fine arts as well as film and television and have been photographing Inner West families for 25 years.

Together with their daughter Odette they have put together this fun photography course for 8-14 year olds to be done in your own home, at your own pace. All you need is a phone camera. A ring-light and phone tripod are optional.

The course includes 4 modules:

1. lighting

2. composition and perspective

3. styling and backdrops

4. putting it all together and creating your aesthetic.

The students can go at their own pace and tick off the tasks as they go. There is an opportunity to ask us questions through an email link in the course or in a Facebook group where all participants can discuss the course content together. This is a simple course that aims to develop photographic techniques that utilise lighting, composition and perspective. So while we do expect most participants will use their new skills to photograph themselves or their pets for example, the same principles will apply to most subjects. Total course cost: $100. Creative vouchers accepted.
