Do you want to come and try-out our makerspace in Darling Square Library? Join this regular 2-hour session to get hands-on experience with 3D printers, laser and die cutters, electronic kits and hand tools including soldering irons.
Bring a simple idea or project you'd like to explore, or we'll set you up with a starter project kit. You could learn how to make a simple robot, build squishy circuits or create your own stopwatch or water sensor. These small-scale starter kits come with easy to follow how-to guides.
Each week, 2 experienced facilitators will be on hand to show you the ropes and discuss your ideas. There will be an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning and learning from publicly available resources within the class.
Bookings and class size: Maximum 10 people. You don't need to come every week, just book in for the sessions you're keen to join.
