Kids will get to play and create with the all the latest makerspace kits and electronic gadgets in these free sessions in the Darling Square Library makerspace.
Designed to help build digital and making skills, there are plenty of different activities to explore each fortnight. Kids can get hands-on with makerspace kits, including littleBits electronics and mBots, or battle it out with our Edison robots. They'll also get to make things that fly in our wind tube and light up LEDs using conductive tape.
These sessions and activities are suitable for kids ages 8 to 12 years only. Parents and guardians are required to stay in the library during the session.
Bookings are essential as places are limited to 10 children per session.
