Capture the beauty and dynamism of the human figure in clay.

This 1-day workshop, led by artist Richard Byrnes, will work directly from the life model to create sculptures in clay. Instruction in proportion, anatomy and the topography of the human body will be provided. The result will be a confident and strong figure study.

Students will be shown how to prepare finished works for firing to ceramic at a subsequent point.

Model, all tools, clay and firing costs included.

No previous experience required and beginners welcome.
