We're going on a Legacy bear hunt, and you can too.
Fundraising for Legacy Week 2021 is looking a little different this year under the COVID-19 lockdown and social distancing restrictions but you can still support veterans' families, who have sacrificed so much for our country.
This Legacy Week you can still take part from home by going on a Legacy bear hunt.
Get involved with an exciting 'bear hunt' activity during your walks outside the house.
This fun Legacy activity encourages children to put a Legacy teddy bear on display in the house, and grown-ups can make it a daily game by hiding their fluffy friend or placing it in a window for other families to spot while they're on the move.
Legacy Week (29 August - 4 September 2021) is the time when Legacy is out and about in force, telling the public about the great work it does helping the families of veterans who have given their lives or health.
With the country still feeling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face fundraising in Greater Sydney has now been cancelled, so join the bear hunt and raise funds for veterans' families in need.
Legacy bears can be ordered online for shipment directly to your home. You can even send one to a friend anywhere in Australia to let them know you are thinking of them during these hard times.
In keeping with Legacy tradition, Legacy teddy bears and Legacy badges can also be purchased through the online form from the Legacy shop. Each teddy is $20 (plus postage).
The funds collected from teddy bear sales allows Legacy to continue our vital work in supporting the families of those who have served our country.
