In this 2 hour workshop, you will be taught how to design, mark out, cut, glue and sew a small item of everyday use from scrap garment leather.
The emphasis of this workshop will be on the safe use of hand tools. The skills taught can be used to create new leather items or for the repair of leather goods that the participants have at home.
At the end of the workshop, you are welcome to join a tour of the Reverse Garbage warehouse.
This workshop is free for seniors, thanks to co-funding by a NSW Seniors Festival Grant provided by the Department of Communities and Justice.
