Learn how to make lampwork glass beads on a torch. Melt glass and manipulate the glass while hot into a bead and decorate the surface with dots, drizzle and frit. Learn to shape a bead into a square , bicone and round bead. Moulds will be available to use in the last hour of class.
Keep to simple, similar colour and small beads and you will have 10 beads for a bracelet. We can make these into jewellery in another class or make them up yourself. Beads need to be annealed to make them strong. You will have to come back and pick up your beads from the Guild of Objects or pay for postage.
