Get creative online with this 5-step activity, inspired by the 22nd Biennale of Sydney: NIRIN exhibition. Suitable for ages 4+.

NIRIN, meaning 'edge', is a word from Artistic Director Brook Andrew's mother's Nation, the Wiradjuri people of western New South Wales. The seven themes that inspire the exhibition use the Wiradjuri language. In each activity, you will learn a new word in Wiradjuri and hear the pronunciation.

Each activity includes simple step-by-step instructions with suggestions for materials - all of which can be easily found around your home. Pip (MCA Kids and Families Coordinator) and Merindah (MCA Artist Educator) will talk you through the steps and show examples of their own work.
