Free guide ride: Green Square to Centennial Park.
Centennial Park is a beautiful place to explore and ride a bike. We'll show you how to get there safely using separated cycleways and paths.
Once you're in the Park it's a relaxed cruise down tree lined Grand Drive. You can feel safe and build your cycling confidence. We'll then head up to the new Moore Park pop-up cycleway. From here it's a downhill roll back to Bourke Street cafe for a coffee. There'll be plenty of stops and time for questions along the way.
The ride starts at East Village shopping centre entrance, corner of Gadigal Avenue and Wolseley Grove. Be there for a 10am start.
Bring your own bike and helmet. Children under 16 must accompanied by an adult. Don't forget a water bottle, sunscreen, warm clothes and some money for food stops along the way.
This free event is part of a month of guided rides to explore the Green Square precinct and beyond. Learn the safest and smoothest ways to get around your neighbourhood and the city using separated cycleways, shared paths and low-traffic streets. There are routes for all levels of riders, with expert ride leaders to accompany you.
