As part of their Rapid Prototyping series, Cicada Innovations will be running a 1-day workshop on all the things you need to consider when starting your own business and commercialising your technology.
Called 'Founder Fast Start', this course is designed to get aspiring entrepreneurs over the real and perceived barriers of bringing their idea to market. The workshop will be delivered by three facilitators, all experts in their own fields:
Brian Dorricott, CSIRO ON Program, UTS Lecturer
Kieren Parker, Addisons Lawyers, Innovation Specialist and mentor at Cicada Innovations
Gregory Davis, Prototype Manager, Michael Crouch Innovation Centre, UNSW Founders
At the end of this workshop participants will be equipped with the knowledge, tools and resources to understand what it takes to bring a technology to market and enough information to identify what support they will need along the way.
