'The Flower Picking' exhibition was inspired by a painting of a soldier picking flowers as a symbol of peace and solidarity.

All the other images follow from that; and they have a lot to do with my own family. The focus has especially been on my Indigenous heritage which I explored working closely with nature and tapping into my own inner nature.

Most of the paintings were made outside around NSW. There are portraits and landscapes, portraits of family as as well as of locals in the area.
