Firepop brings their pop-up to the Rocks Lunar Markets for 2021 Lunar New Year celebrations. With lion dancers, art installations, food stalls and more, the markets will surely have something for everyone!
Known as one of 10 tastiest food trucks in Sydney (although technically not a truck!), Firepop is a pop-up restaurant with a focus on cooking with fire. Particularly, skewers (or pops as they call them!) - delicious morsels of wholesome local ingredients pierced onto bamboo skewers and grilled over charcoal. They are similar to Yakitori in size and presentation, whilst flavours are all quite distinct and inspired by various cuisines. Juicy on the inside, perfectly caramelised on the outside.
In spirit of festivities, Firepop will be presenting the amazing Dragon Duo installation inspired by Chinese Lunar New Year tales - not to be missed! More importantly, get your good luck ready for the Year of the Ox with their must-try 'good luck packed' specials - all with cultural meaning behind them. Bring the little ones too, they'll be getting a complimentary red pocket!
