Festival of Winds is going online for the first time in 42 years!
Festival of the Winds has made a name for itself worldwide as being the largest kite-flying festival in Australia, but due to COVID-19 restrictions around public gatherings, the famous kite flying displays at Bondi Beach and live cultural events at Bondi Park have been replaced with an exciting online offering.
Join us at www.festivalofthewinds.com.au and learn how to make and fly a kite, virtually attend some great workshops, talks, live music performances and visit an online gallery celebrating 42 years of Festival of the Winds!
The festival is proudly presented by Waverley Council and the Australian Kite Flyers Society and is a major event on Council's cultural calendar.
