Diversifying our nightlife: inspired ideas & collaborations 2021

We want to accelerate our city's economic recovery by bringing together creative and cultural practitioners with property and venue owners. To kickstart our city's nightlife we're looking for new ideas about how we use spaces across the inner city.

Opportunities to enliven Sydney's nightlife await - from disused laneways or empty car parks, to shopping centre food courts or vacant hotel rooms.

A collaboration or support from the City of Sydney, including grants could turn your ideas into reality. This session showcases some recent success stories highlighting the businesses and creative producers behind them.

Hear about:

• how our creative community and diversified nightlife are part of the City of Sydney's vision for Sydney at night

• grant funding for night-time programming, festival and events, and capital works to support live music and performance (applications open 19 July)

• how a city grant helped inspire 3 collaborations including Darlo Bar and Brand X to present a site-responsive performance residency, Petite Suite.

This online event includes a 30-minute Q&A session.
