Join us online for a fascinating presentation of 'and he taught the canaries to sing', a pilot project using four animated videos that celebrate family life in Poland before 1939.

The program focuses on the diversity and colour of Jewish life in Poland before the Shoah, so that people will understand that Poland had a vital Jewish history. Project Curator Estelle Rozinski says, 'My hope is that the animations will debunk the stereotypes we hold of pre-war Jewry.'

Estelle will discuss the artistic process with each of the four artists involved in this project: Anita Lester, David Asher Brook and Steven Durbach.
