Between Worlds 2020

The liminal space between what was and what will be, could be the zeitgeist of 2020. The four artists in 'Between Worlds' connect with this idea in their own way. Joe, born in Mawali now resident of Sydney's North shore shares memories of his homeland, Jane paints Covid 19 and frames it like a pinned butterfly, perhaps in doing so is wishing for more certainty, while Joel between abstraction and comic imaginings creates colourful possible cities to virtually visit. Julie explores liminal states, transformation and what it means to be between, with traditional and digital mixed media.
