Less than two years on the scene and it's already hard to imagine Australian hip hop without BARKAA

This fiery First Nations rapper spits raw truth and speaks to the moment, with tracks like 'OUR LIVES MATTER' and 'For My Tittas' striking a chord with a new generation.

From Blacktown rap battles to Sydney Opera House, BARKAA lets rip with intense energy above raw beats, expressing her story and the issues impacting First Nations people. A Malyangapa, Barkindki woman from Western New South Wales, now living in South West Sydney on Gandangara land, she channels inner demons and past battles into exuberant hip hop for right here and now.

Let loose with empowering rap that channels epic change.
