Join us these school holidays for an eco-friendly family adventure through The National 2021: New Australian Art exhibition and participate in an inclusive art-making experience in our Creative Studios.
MCA's artist educators will take your family on a mini-interactive tour of the exhibition, stopping at two key artworks to have a closer look. Once inspired, you will head back to our Creative Studios for a hands-on making session.
In the makers' studio you and your mini art lovers will be inspired by everyday objects and recycled materials to create mark-making tools such as paintbrushes, weaving implements, and print blocks to experiment and create eco-friendly artworks.
The program will run for approximately 2 hours. Capacity is limited, please book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, booking times cannot be swapped.
Who can attend?
ALL bodies and ALL abilities are welcome. This program has been designed for children ages 4-12 and their grown-ups to collaborate, create and play. All children must be accompanied and supervised by a paid participating adult. Siblings under the age of 4 are also welcome to join for free.
