Acting lessons with Suzi 2021

Suzi Dougherty is a skilled performer with more than 20 years' experience. She is a founding member of the Bell Shakespeare Company. She has played Cheryl Braxton on Home and Away for over 5 years and currently appears on the show the Gloaming on Stan.  

Suzi will run a 2-hour class that will include a voice warm-up, group activities and acting techniques. The class will facilitate many skills like communication, relationship building and strengthening our memory.  

The class will be specifically designed with older students in mind, so all levels of physical, mental and vocal capabilities are addressed. The benefits of being involved in acting classes include better health, fewer visits to the doctors, increased social connection. 

This class usually takes place at the Harry Jensen Community Centre, Millers Point on Fridays and the Reginald Murphy Community Centre, Elizabeth Bay on Tuesdays as part of the City of Sydney City Spaces Program.  

This class is held on Zoom, connection details will be emailed after you reserve your space.
