Co-founder and CEO of Airtasker, Tim Fung, sits down to discuss his journey building his ASX listed business.
Inception to IPO. It's a dream journey for many startup founders. To get there usually involves a long road of bootstrapping, venture capital, team growth, user growth, product development, pivots, expansion, and more. It's not for the faint of heart.
But, for the lucky few who make it, it turns into something magical, and a household name is born. Tim Fung, co-founder and CEO of Airtasker, is one of the few.
Having launched in 2012, Airtasker has since enabled more than $1 billion in working opportunities, acquired more than 4.3 million registered users, and earned itself the title of Australia's no. 1 marketplace for local services. On top of that, in March Airtasker made its debut on the ASX and is now valued at $255 million.
In what is a very timely event, Tim will sit down with Bede Moore, Managing Partner of Antler, to discuss this experience, Airtasker's growth to date, as well as advice he has for others who want to follow a similar path.
